What a show is

A show is one night of selling. Add one for the night you go live, plan its run order from what is on your shelf, and once the weekly report is in, this page says what the night actually made.

You do not have to use them. Every sale counts toward your day, week and month whether it belongs to a show or not.

Recording a show

Add what sold on the show page, or record it from a lot on Inventory and pick this show. Either way reaches the same place.

One line at a time. It stays open, so you can keep going.

Made a mistake? Undo it on the row -- the stock goes back on the shelf and this night's numbers follow. It is also on the lot itself, on Inventory.

Recording a whole show? Use the show page -- it takes one line after another without reopening.

Selling from lots that were not on the plan is normal -- a plan is what you intended, not a limit on what you can sell.

Planning a show

A plan is the line-up you mean to run, with the price below which each lot loses money once Whatnot has taken its cut. It never moves stock and it never limits what you can record on the night.

Add the lots you mean to run tonight. Nothing here moves stock -- a plan is what you intend, not a record of what happened.

Set a goal on Goals and pace and the plan will show what tonight needs to bring. Change goal, beside the figure, sets a new one from the 1st of next month -- this month is still judged against the goal it started with, and the line beside the figure shows the new one and its date.

The cover

Whatnot asks for one when you create the show. Make it here and download it.

How long a show runs

The length you pick is used to tell whether the show is on air right now. The start time comes from your Weekly Order Report.

On the plan, the start price is per unit and optional; the expected price is per unit and is the only one that is projected.
